Full Moon in Capricorn 28 June 2018 – changes at work and home
The Full Moon this month falls in the sign of Capricorn at 6 degrees and 28 minutes, exactly opposing the Sun at the same degree in the sign of Cancer, and occurs at 2:53pm Sydney time (AEST) on Thursday 28 June 2018.
The Moon at this Full Moon will be closely conjunct Capricorn’s planetary ruler, Saturn, which is moving Retrograde at 5 degrees and 48 minutes of Capricorn, giving a seriousness, coolness and rigidity to emotions and feelings, possibly masking issues of safety and security (Moon, ruler of Cancer).
A Full Moon is always a time of culmination, of something coming to a point of completion. This may concern your work, as Earthy Capricorn represents material and worldly ambition, practicalities, form and a reality that is cautious and controlled, reaping the rewards of status and position for effort. Water sign Cancer represents instinct and sensitivity, being caring, nurturing, protective, receptive and tenacious. Both signs rule tradition and conservatism.
This is a productive Moon Full Moon, good for dealing with family situations that need to be reviewed or released, and for balancing the areas of work and home life.
The next New Moon falls on 12 July in Cancer and is a Solar Eclipse – we commence the second eclipse season of the year.
