Aquarius New Moon 2019 heralds the Year of the Earth Pig
We have just had our New Moon in Aquarius at 15 degrees, ushering in the Chinese New Year for 2019 with the Year of the Earth Pig. Airy Aquarians are associated with being unique, progressive, original, independent, individualistic, humanitarian and inventive.
The Years of the Pig include: 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007 and 2019 (2031 and 2043). The Earth element represents the harvest and corresponds to the middle of the year. It also represents patience and practicality.
The Pig is the last sign in the Chinese zodiac, and symbolises a happy home and domestic life. Pigs are caring and love their home and often large family, as well as their neighbours.
In business, being the last sign, Pigs are finishers and may become successful financially. Professions such as nursing and counselling are careers Pigs could enjoy, as well as voluntary and other work where concern is shown for others. They need to be careful others don’t take advantage of their kind nature.
This is a good year to deal with family issues. Since this the final year of the cycle, conclude any projects that need finalising, as it may be difficult to finish anything incomplete after this Pig Year.
The next lunation is the Full Moon in Virgo on Tuesday 19 February 2019.
