Full Moon in Pisces 13/14 September 2019 – creating order from chaos
The Full Moon this month occurs on either Friday 13 or Saturday 14 September 2019, depending on where you live, with the Moon at 21°04′ Pisces and the Sun in the opposite sign of Virgo at 21°04.′ It is exact on 14 September 2019 at 2.32 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) (see chart below).
In Los Angeles it is exact on 13 September 2019 at 9.32 pm (PDT), in New York on 14 September 2019 at 0:32 am (EDT), and in London on 14 September 2019 at 5.32 pm (BST).
The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the peak of the Sun/Moon cycle. It is a good time to see fruition from the seeds planted at the time of the Virgo New Moon, which occurred on 30 August 2019. Full Moons are also cycles of completion or closure.
Both signs are of the Mutable quality or mode, meaning that flexibility, adaptability and changeability comes easily for these signs.
Moon conjunct Neptune:
The Moon in Watery Pisces is a deeply emotional and sensitive Moon. We may experience a lack of emotional boundaries, feel others’ feelings, and/or express any unresolved feelings. The Moon is also conjunct Neptune, planet of illusion, delusion, imagination and spirituality, in its home sign, therefore strengthening its position.
We may feel more idealistic than usual, be deceived by others, or experience self-deception. We may also feel either confused or inspired, with the lines of precision and orderliness blurring at times, experiencing impracticality. This is a good time to surrender to a higher reality, learn to meditate, tap into your intuition, have faith and trust it.
Your body may also become more sensitive too, so be careful with any drugs. If Neptune opposes your Sun, your ego and identity is being dissolved, and you may become more sensitive to the development of, and surrendering to, your spiritual purpose.
Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars in Virgo:
There are 4 planets in the opposite sign of Virgo: Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars. Virgo is an Earth sign concerning stability, predictability, groundedness and practicality. It is associated with being analytical, discriminating, orderly, effective, sorting the “wheat from the chaff” and developing the skills and techniques of our craft. However Virgo can also be considered to be fussy and perfectionistic and overly concerned with details.
Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury, which is in its home sign. Mercury, or “the winged messenger,” rules communication, speech, language, writing, connecting with others, intelligence and the efficient use of information in its exchange and application. Communicating efficiently, and putting passion (Mars) and desire (Venus) into practical service work (Virgo), while maintaining our boundaries (Neptune) and emotional equilibrium (Moon) will hold us in good stead at this time.
Jupiter square Neptune – dream big:
This square aspect between the ancient (Jupiter) and modern (Neptune) rulers of Pisces has been in effect since January 2019, with the third and final exact square occurring on 21 September 2019. Jupiter is concerned with the intellectual search for meaning and governs our belief systems, while Neptune concerns our feelings and attunement to our beliefs. Jupiter likes to go expand and seek further afield, broadening our horizons, while Neptune concerns ideals and dreams and transcending boundaries. If you have a dream, go for it – the sky’s the limit!
