Jupiter in Aquarius conjunct Midheaven
As a day chart with the Sun being above the horizon, Jupiter is the most positive planet in the chart. Ghislaine’s Midheaven (MC), signifying her vocation and public standing is in the humanitarian but cool and detached, sign of Aquarius in the 9th house of travel, foreigners, foreign places and higher education. It is conjunct the expansive planet Jupiter, indicating she makes a big or ‘larger than life’ statement in the public realm. Being born into great wealth, she found it hard to relate to the ‘average Joe.’ The 10th house is also on the parental axis, so Jupiter connected with the MC is the more visible parent, which would be her controlling (and unprincipled) father, publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell.
Sun in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn
The planetary ruler of her Aquarian MC, 9th house, and Capricorn Sun is Saturn. Saturn, which can also represent father, is in the sign Capricorn, the other sign he traditionally rules, and is close to the MC from the 8th house of sex, death, inheritance and other people’s money and values. Saturn is unaspected in the chart, making no other aspects at all, so is disconnected and dominates the chart with its themes of structure, (lack of) responsibility for actions, and discipline. Mars in his sign of Exaltation is a strategic placement for others’ values – Ghislaine was calculating and efficient at organising the sex-trafficking of girls within the paedophilic system for Jeffrey and other elite men. She was also Jeffrey Epstein’s personal organiser of the practicalities in his personal life. Her Sun conjunct Mars in the 8th house was how she found her own identity (Sun) with the males in her life (Mars), rather than forging her own identity.
Malefic Mars
Mars is also the most difficult planet in her chart, as it is the malefic contrary to the sect, as she has a day chart. It is also exactly at 0 degrees of Capricorn, right at the beginning of the sign, indicating a potent and ready to surge action, energy and authority. Mars ruling her 6th (Scorpio on the cusp) and 11th (Aries on the cusp), also gives her the executive ability to run day-to-day routines (6th) and groups of people such as the girls (11th).
Gemini Ascendant, Mercury as ruling planet
Gemini Rising has a persona of being friendly and sociable, being a Mutable Air sign. Gemini, ‘The Twins’ can be duplicitous, and is ruled by communication planet Mercury, which, in the 8th house in Capricorn, integrally tied with the Sun and Mars in a stellium. Mercury is also known as ‘the trickster’ planet, and not surprisingly she coolly strategised with others to manipulate and lie to the girls to achieve their criminal ends. Mercury forming an opportunistic sextile to nebulous Neptune reinforces her ability to deceive with her words. Mercury also makes a harmonious, flowing trine aspect to Pluto in the 4th house, denoting the power (Pluto), Ghislaine had with her words (Mercury) to unscrupulously control and deceive the child victims of sex-trafficking. Mercury also rules her 4th house of home, family and living conditions, having Mercury’s co-ruled sign of Virgo on that house cusp. Ghislaine had more than one home; including in New York City on the Upper East Side, and the house in Bradford, New Hampshire where she hid before being arrested by the FBI in July 2020.
Venus in Sagittarius
Relationship and money planet Venus is in Sagittarius, the Mutable Fire sign relating to ‘being on the move’, and Ghislaine was a socialite, flitting here and there, having fun and making connections with wealthy people. Venus makes an (out of sign) trine with electric Uranus, which can have her easily seeking and attracting freedom and individuality using her charm offensive, and desiring unique, unusual, unconventional and different relationships and experiences.
Moon in Leo
Ghislaine’s Moon is in fiery Leo. Leo is the sign of recognition, having an emotional need (Moon) for praise and admiration, and feeling secure when in the spotlight and when impressing others. The Moon is conjunct her North Node (NN) in Leo, in the 3rd house of communication, and opposes her Jupiter in Aquarius in the 9th. Her path (NN) is to bring her cool detachment (Aquarius) into a more emotionally warm expression (Leo). Hopefully she will speak the truth about exactly what happened, and expose other guilty parties who were involved. The 3rd house also rules learning, so writing a book from an emotional basis could be another way a ‘path with a heart’ could potentially develop.
Neptune square Moon
Neptune in the 6th house squares the Moon, where there is deception and stories told to the girls who were manipulated into Ghislaine’s and Epstein’s web. The Moon also rules the mother, and indicates a dissolution or elusiveness around the mother. Ghislaine was born when her older brother Michael was in a coma from a recent car accident, so the nurturing from her mother Betty was ‘not there’ or lacking any clarity.
Lack of Water Element
There is a lack of Water Element in Ghislaine’s chart too, apart from Chiron in the 10th house, publicly displaying the woundedness she brought to others. Pisces ruling the 10th house, including the visible parent, here is significant since her father drowned at sea, leaving Ghislaine apparently wounded and ‘inconsolable.’ The generational planet Neptune is in Watery Scorpio, however it stays in a sign for 14 years.
With the distinct lack of Water element, the realm of feelings and emotions, and of compassion and empathy are more difficult for Ghislaine to access.
